Recent Grants

2008 was stellar! Our annual awards event held March 5th, was an incredible success. Gracious sponsors and a large turnout provided a festive evening for Chicago's fashion industry.

Our scholarship grant went to Nora Del Busto who started her foray into fashion by first redesigning her career. The former personal injury attorney from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, swept a talented field of promising designers with her submission, Modern Millennium.  more >

2008 Scholarship Award Gala

"The Future of Chicago Fashion Design"

CFF would like to congratulate Nora Del Busto on being the WINNER of the Future of Chicago Fashion Design Competition.

Title of Submission: Modern Millennium

Nora is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan but has been living in Chicago for the last eight years. She was a personal injury attorney
before making a career change and is currently a fashion design senior at the International Academy of Design & Technology. Her most recent designs have been inspired by architecture, although she finds inspiration everywhere!
